Small wonder

Many hope that there will come a day
Of justice for poor JonBenet;
But who measures the cost
In innocence lost
While such children are put on display?

The case against John Mark Karr
Looks like the strangest twist so far
A fake confession could teach us a lesson
In getting a newsman's attention.
(sorry; I couldn't help myself)

Much ado to those who pursued
For at times they seemed to be screwed
For justice is to protect and to serve
May JonBenet recieve what she deserves.

Your comment on poor JonBenet
Gave both thought & pause today
Little girls in makeup
Cause sickos to wake up
And do things that make us dismay.

LS - you have groupies!

I do not have such time
To sit and contemplate a rhyme so...

I think this will all prove to be just a very sick man and not the person responsible for JonBenet's murder.

As the mother of four girls, this crime has always made me have nightmares.

Pattie,

If groupies I have to endure,
Then I’ll do it and be so demure.
In fact it’s my aim
To attain so much fame
I’m secure in a groupie du jour!

Seriously, to all: I think that the bigger story here is how, even after 10 years, this case sparks such immediate and widespread interest; and what that might say about our society in general.

Foolish2BYoung, I just note that, despite the name of your blog, you are the only commenter here without a face. How come?
